Police here have charged a man with four felony counts of sexual assault of a Chincoteague Island juvenile.
Captain Hill House celebrates national landmark registry
The owners of the Captain Timothy Hill House, 5122 Main St., Chincoteague, Louisa Flaningam and Paul Brzozowski, held an outdoor celebration in honor of the listing of the house on the National Register of Historic Places and The Virginia Landmarks Register.
Blueberry Festival plans get under way
Plans are under way for the 25th Anniversary of the Chincoteague Island Blueberry Festival, which will be held at the beautiful Chincoteague Community Center, at 6155 Community Drive, on Chincoteague Island, Virginia, July 20-22. The Blueberry Festival will be held from 9a.m.- 4:30 p.m. rain or shine.
Caution is urged after animals test positive for rabies
There has been a confirmed cases of rabies on Chincoteague Island and the Accomack County Health Department is reminding residents to take caution.
