The Hudson Headwaters Warrensburg Health Center, in a former A&P supermarket building, will be replaced with a new two-story building that will double the center's space, thanks to $5 million in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

State Police say Paul Pierce of East Greenbush sexually abused a boy over the course of two years at Pierce's home in Albany and at a camp in Chestertown.

A retired Albany policeman and DARE officer admitted on the stand Tuesday that he made inappropriate sexual comments to an underage girl once when he was drunk but denied he ever sexually molested her or her brother.

A retired Albany police detective and former DARE officer is on trial in Rensselaer County Court on charges that he sodomized a 16-year-old boy.
