What a dope! He must not watch many TV crime shows. My dog could plan a better, more intelligent murder that this selfish, abominable excuse for a human being. I hope they convict his sorry a** and if possible go for the death penalty. His "church" member family and friends sound like more pieces of work...shame on them all.

I too hope he gets what is coming to him. I am just worried. He has hired a very capable law firm. They will put up a very good defense. I just pray that our states attorney gets the resources that he needs to prosecute this properly. I think that he is capable just hope that he gets the help he needs to get this done right.

I totally agree with you I was so sickening to see her family up at the court house yesterday just beside themselves over what has happened and his "church going family & friends" smiling & and carring on like they were at sunday mass and not their son's MURDER trial. These people are something else how do you smile & laugh or even shake your head in disbelief when your daughter-in-law and grandkids lay cold and motionless in the ground I really don't get it. I would have to be medicated just to sit in the same room as he did. He is heartless and desirves more then what he will get. I think Sherri's family should get to give him a dose of his own medicine...anyway very SAD story and I would never want to be in those shoes I think it would be way more easier to file for DIVORCE!!!

Sad, but true. Unfortunately, "normal" people get divorced. It's clear CC is the true definition of a sociopath. He didn't just want to get divorced and have every other weekend with the kids...he wanted NO KIDS. He is the perfect example of the type of man who is selfish and feels neglected when a child enters the house. He is a big baby and when a child comes into the family, he can no longer be the baby. He wanted all th attention to himself. He DESPISED that his wife dedicated her life to their children, and he DESPISED that his kids were the center of attention. So he didn't just want divorce. He wanted revenge. He wanted them wiped out for not allowing him to be the ego-centric selfish prick that he trully wanted to be and that Tara Lintz was happy to allow him to be.

Such a tragic ending and yet, I suspect that there will be justice on this one. Not equity and not a happy ending - but justice. And if he does get a death penalty, I hope they make him lie naked on a bed and be subjected to strangulation until death as his penalty. In fact they should shove a picture of his dead sons bodies in front of him while it's being done so he recognizes what they went through. Actually... take that back, they should first castrate him...slowly burn the flesh off his body...drag him behind a car...make him watch re-runs of Barney or Teletubbies...and THEN strangle him.

this story has really broken my heart i have a 9 year old and an 11 year old. he is a cold hearted pos i HATE him so much for what he did to those poor babies and that beutiful woman.you can look at any pics of his family they are as cold as he is standing by their murdering son. i understand loving your kids unconditionally but my GOD they were their grandchildren to dont they have any feelings about that their son took the lives of their grandchildren. i agree with you some sort of volume would be neccessary to be in that court room. i hope him and his gf rot in hell.

Very capable law firm? The Margulis lawyers are local amateurs who do more posturing than anything else. And Sherri's family is bringing in real pros from New York.
And as far as the comments on divorce, he would have lost his job if he had gotten a divorce, as Joyce Meyer will employ no one who is divorced.

Joyce Meyer herself is divorced, she was married in the '60'sfor five years. What a hypocrite. She claims it was an abusive relationship so it don't count.

Chris Coleman better pray for some sort of divine intervention because he's set down the groundwork for his own incarceration and possible execution. Anyone who can plan and execute the murder of their own children deserves the harshest punishment. Divorce isn't pleasant, but it's available so people don't need to resort to murder in order to make a change in their life. He's a vile, cowardly, and evil individual. Nothing his defense attorneys could say would be able to convince me that there could be any sort of justification for what he did to the mother of his children and those two beautiful boys.

CC is such a monster. Tears well up in my eyes every time I think about Sherri and those boys. Seeing her brother on the news last night was so sad. Why didn't CC just leave the marriage, leave the boys, leave the state. Why did he kill them? Its so horrible.

I wonder if she'd consider this situation to be an abusive relationship...

No matter what her policy is, regardless of what Chris Coleman's perception of it was as to whether he'd be able to keep his job, it doesn't come close to justifying the horror he inflicted on his wife and boys, not to mention Sheri's family.

I wonder what his lover's/wife's friend thinks of him now. I wonder what she thinks of herself for getting involved with her supposed friend's husband. I hope it makes her sick everytime she hears Sheri and the boys' names.

I realize what wonders a good set of attorneys can do but in this case I see very little his attorney could do.
It's all layed out in black & white.
I first thought they might try he didn't remember after he done it....but later seeing all the evidence he had it planned.
He's not sick/crazy/ect he's a very mean person.

I think all his lawyers can really do for him is to try to get the death penalty off of the table. Illinois does still have the option to sentence the death penalty but the Governor would have to lift the stay on the executions.

I think life in prison would be better.

If he gets the death penalty they will put him in solitary confinement and we will have to hear 20 years of appeals.

Give him Life in prison, throw him in with the general population and justice will probably be served within a year.

yes that is very ture life in general population as a baby killer and you killed your wife would not settle well with other inmates at any correctional center as strange as that might sound most of those men that are in there do have a heart for women & childern. CC is the most selfish boy I think I ever seen and did you see the way he rode in the back of the police car to the last court apperence...slunched over in the back looking GUILTY but, not shameful I am just happy that he is no longer walking as a free man so he can not harm anymore people that someone else loved!!!

I truly hope and pray that you are all right. I just know that the evidence that we have heard about has all been through the eyes of the prosecution. I am sure that the defense will have a different read on all of this. Just pray for strength and wisdom for those who will be presecuting this. As we are all to aware just because you are guilty of a crime does not mean that you will be convicted in a court of law

Careful...you're making the inmates sound like big warm fuzzy teddy bears looking for a group hug and a good cry. I do not disagree about the "general population's" perception of baby killers and their soft spot for kids, but I think you may want to revise your statistic of "most" when you say most have a place in their heart for women.*I* would venture to say more than 50% are IN prison partly or directly because of some crime against women or involved in some crime that indirectly included violent actions against women.

I agree on all else -- CC is scum. True, we may be receiving information from the prosecution's slant, but I think at the end of the day the facts and DNA will speak for itself.

I'm still amazed that the police actually already had video surveillance positioned on the house and can prove that no one other than CC left or entered the house on the morning of the murders. That truly amazes me. And the only reason they even had that set up is because CC himself had called in false claims of threats received at his home. Bet he had no CLUE the police would poise a camera at his house as a result of his diabolical murder planning. Unbelievable!! That almost qualifies for those Stupid Criminal Awards!!!

I think most of these folks delude themselves into thinking that maximum security prisons are just full of mis-directed and misunderstood criminals who have hearts of gold deep down and live by some sort of criminal's code of honor. Many of them are bad news in the worst way. Watching how this case plays out will be interesting. If he's guilty, it will be a test of how the courts look upon doling out a death sentence - in other words, if he's guilty and this crime doesn't qualify for the death penalty, what would?

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Gemini

You'll need every ounce of patience today because even the best-laid plans could go up in smoke under the Full Moon lunar eclipse. It seems that certain people are doing their best to throw spanners in the works, and the more annoyed you become the more they'll goad you still further. If there's dissent in the ranks about how to spend New Year's Eve, you may decide to go your own sweet way and prove that you're an individual in your own right. But try not to let any bad feelings mar the celebrations. Have a fantastic night!
