Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter To Host Tag Sale

CHESHIRE, Mass. - The Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter will be holding its annual tag sale on Saturday, June 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Whitney's Farm Market and Country Gardens located on Route 8. The event is held annually to raise money for food and any necessary care for many homeless cats and dogs.

CLARKSBURG, Mass. - Clarksburg has a new town administrator in Thomas Webb. The Selectmen on Wednesday morning voted to offer the post to the Cheshire town administrator after interviewing him and fellow finalist attorney Barbara Kellogg of Lenox on Wednesday morning.

Man charged with threatening Nilan

Pittsfield Police have filed charges against a man who allegedly threatened Meredith Nilan if "the justice system doesn't come through," apparently in reference to a pending case in which Nilan is accused of leaving the scene of an accident that left a man with a broken neck.
