Ark. novelist peoples books with family, friends

I submitted a signed letter concerning events on opening day of the Sidetrack Cafe to the Monitor defending my friend Phillip Yates and condemning Bill Crawford, et.al. The Monitor refused to publish the letter. What a shame that America's amendment insuring freedom of speech can be exercised only in an internet gossip column. McCrory will never change...if you are not high in society then you are a nobody...and thats sad that people cant take the truth...and honestly who ever rejected the letter and is tryin to protect em aint doing them no good...word gets around..its a small town...and in all honesty i bet who ever they are tryin to protect wouldnt do that for them...

This is not ethical. It says in the Monitor that if one signs the article then they can publish it. This is just sad Mr. Kidwell. I would like to read it and I am sending my email to you.

Well if you ask me they need to post the letter. You have the right to tell the people of this town what is going on. Here's a thought find out the hold up and post what you found out on cars around town start your own newspaper. Flyers would be great. lol that would be to funny.

I remember that incident. I was at a local garage sale with my grubby's on, sweat pants none the less. I had just finished "Arkansas" for the second time and recognized Christine right away from her picture on the cover. I debated on whether to speak to her because of the way I looked, and because I was running for Mayor I didn't need to be out and about looking like I had just dragged up out of the garden (which I had). My daughter was with me and she advised me "mom, I wouldn't do that" when I told her what I was about to do, but I threw caution aside and spoke to Christine thinking all the time that I was glad I had at least combed my hair before getting out of the car. She is a very sweet lady and I am glad that I did. I was so pleased that she received me with a smile. Her Christian Romances are perfect for everyone and I can't wait for each one to hit the sales counter. Thank you Christine for being such a Lady.

Everyone needs to get a copy of this letter and call the monitor or quit buying the paper till it is published. I guarentee you will be pissed.
