Hockey players are not usually known for their kindness on the ice, but off the ice, the Blue Devil hockey team makes a commitment to help in its community.

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI Per 33 CFR 165.901, Captain of the Port Sault Ste Marie will close the waters between Cheboygan Michigan and Bois Blanc Island Michigan known as South Channel, effective 1000 EST 25 January 2012.

Recent sign-on WQEZ-FM 97.7 Cheboygan earlier this week revealed its full-time format: soft rock as 'Easy 97.7'. The programming is automated for now, but owner Del Reynolds plans to host morning drive himself and add more local elements as the station matures.
