Chatsworth Police investigating bullying allegations after student's suicide

What will happen when another kid gets bullied i wonder if the school will turn their heads again.My son will start Murray County High School next year.And i wonder what will happen

If your child is bullied and he tries to defend himself he will be in trouble. If he turns the bully in nothing happens! Thats how it works at the high school.

I think that your child will be fine and I don't think you should use Tyler's name as your name on this form. Why would you even think of using his name!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with sadie on this i know first hand if your kid stands up to the bullies they get in trouble i know it happened to my son he got punched in the face hit the kid back and they both got suspended one for 3 days and one for 5 days the worst part is that the resource officer and at least one teacher maybe two watched it happen and did nothing to stop it until it was to late to stop it

CPD didn't do a damn thing. Who is surprised? This is the second kid I know of that has committed suicide in just a couple of years. Who knows what happened with the other kid. It may have been the same thing. The school did a coverup and it was just fine with the CPD.They may have had to do some paperwork or something. Thanks vets for my 1st Amendment rights.You know rights like illegal search rights. CPD is famous for having a little illegal look see on Mexicans and teenagers.They don't have time to investigate other things.

Wow Matt seems like you have a problem with the CPD. And If you all knew all you say you all knew shame on you all for letting it go on seems theres a lot of blame. I have yet to see any proof of all these allegations just a lot of talk !!!!!!!!!!

The Chatsworth Times has published verdicts where the Judge had dismissed cases due to illegal searches by officers of the CPD. It has happened to teenagers whose parents get a laywer and fight it. In this case they waited around and let the school erase the video tapes. They allowed the school to dictate that they could not do an investigation on school grounds. They should be investigating the school for covering up a crime. Will they? No.

It seems that each and everyone of us have an opion or two and that is our rights to have that. I know first hand how the law goes hand and hand with the city officials including Judges & School Board. It is to not make the city of Chatsworth look bad. Like I said in an earlier post, my daughter years ago was beat up by a son of someone in the County tag office and when it went infront of Steve Hampton he threw it out because she didn't have any bruises still on her face when we went to court 3 weeks later. Even though we had pictures showing the bruises. Steve said how do we know where she got the bruises? We immediately pressed charges at the time it happened, but he was not arrested. He never even had bail. I foudn out later that he hit her on a regular bases but she was to scared to tell me. My daughter was one of 3 that were beat up by him while they were in school (I foudn this out later, also) and he probley walked on all of them. His parents knew how he was, you could see that in court.
So when anyone says that bullying is not a crime, then just look how many girls in school you see with black eyes or split lips and then you tell me, did they really fall down some stairs or walk into a door??? NOPE, they were hit by their boyfriends in school. Or maybe a boy has a split lip or a black eye....maybe then look to his girlfriend. Bullying don't end at the end of the school year or when they graduate...it goes on to their wives, husbands, kids, or their parents. When the school and police shut their eyes to things like this they are just signing a right for the person to keep going, keep getting angrier and keep on doing what your doing...Someone stronger and more reconized will someday cross your path and then what will you do????? I HOPE YOU SHED A TEAR FOR EVERYONE YOU HURT IN THE PAST....CAUSE SOMEONE WILL SHED A TEAR FOR YOU EVEN THOUGH YOU DO NOT DESERVE IT... REMEMBER GOD & YOUR PARENTS WILL BE THERE, LIKE THEY WERE IN THE PAST!

my heart goes out to tylers family and if troy is being bullied also someone needs to man up and put a stop to it his health cant take it

I am sorry for what happened to tyler, but its the sheriffs office responsibility for the school system. Thats why they are the school resource officer. I guess you got a ticket from CPD thats why your pissed.
