how true!
I said I'd never say it - but those were the good ol' days --- when my grandmother gave homemade caramel apples to the trick or treaters, and no one had to give it a second thought!

Here in the Mid-west, where I will spend this Haloween it is a bit under the top. As they should, parents come with the smaller kids. The larger kids are never to be seen, they have parties to go to. We always end up with far too much stuff, but my gal always buys the giant economy size of mixed delights, of Which Hershey Bars are still # 1 with me.
I buy Hershey Bars by the 36 pack and I also buy the thick dark Fanny May chocolate bars, that make a solid "Conk" sound when you bite them as the bars did in the movie Open Range.
Nice, homey piece. Was that Kat you wrote about?

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Taurus

It's important that you keep that famous bull-headedness in check over the next couple of weeks. Be cool, calm and sensible and you'll find that you end up with things correctly and tidily done. Stick to the straight and narrow, no matter what the distractions or irritations around you. If you think outside the square, you'll begin to see how visualisation can change and shape your life. Trust your hunches and be ready to move on them.
