Governor wants to keep ban on mining uranium, for now
Gov. Bob McDonnell wants the General Assembly to maintain Virginia's moratorium on uranium mining for this year, allowing time for a new, multiagency working group to conduct a comprehensive, site-specific analysis of a proposed mining site in Pittsylvania County.
