Trout Run is a 'Water to Watch'
“Whether you measure the effect of the 10 success stories in feet or miles of fish and wildlife habitat conserved, these kinds of concerted actions are what it is going to take to get our nation's waters back into shape”
An assembly of the nation's leading authorities on aquatic conservation has unveiled the 2008 "10 Waters to Watch" list, a collection of rivers, streams and shores that will be cleaner and healthier habitats for the many fish and wildlife species and people who call these areas home. Trout Run in Fillmore County has been named to the list.

She brought the concept to Fillmore Central, instructing sixth grade students to create projects. Read more

Pawlenty Doesn't Know Sheet About Music
“Now, (a sheet music lending library) might be a nice idea, but is that a priority relative to zeroing out the Veterans Home? We're going to have a sheet music museum, Rep. Tschumper? Is that the priorities for the state of Minnesota?”
