How is this for a bit of Election Day irony? The area of Precinct 1 with the fewest registered voters may be the most impacted if alcohol sales are legalized.

The El Paso Museum of History, 510 N. Santa Fe, will celebrate Texas' influence on zydeco, jazz and blues music, and women in music.

Van Zandt County Precinct 1 voters will go to the polls Nov. 3 to decide if alcohol will be sold in that portion of the county.
