It' been nearly four months since tornadoes ravaged parts of North Jefferson County.

Two Jefferson County woman have been arrested after they brandished a gun in the parking lot at Pinson Valley High School while there to challenge another parent to a fight, authorities said today.

A judge today set a Sept. 17 trial date for a Birmingham woman accused of killing a pedestrian while she was driving high on cocaine in a parking lot in front of a Center Point restaurant, court records show.
