The Rim of the World Post #9624 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, located in Cedarpines Park, inducted a brand new member on Sunday, their first female member, Laurie Ann Hoeltzel.
VFW speech contest winners honored on Veterans Day
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9624 of Cedarpines Park recognized Veteran's Day by announcing the five winners of their annual speech contests for high school and middle school students, as well as respectfully retiring many torn or tattered American flags in a solemn ceremony.
