The Schuyler County legislative redistricting committee met to discuss the ongoing redistricting process on Wednesday, May 2 in the human services complex.

Legislative candidate Mark Rondinaro spoke at the Oct. 11 meeting of the Schyuler County Legislature and also at the legislative resolution review committee meeting regarding the voting districts and the local law that controls the election of legislators.

Gregory V. Long, 49, of West Church Street in Elmira, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, accused of stealing property worth more than $3,000 from the state Department of Labor, accused of falsely reporting to the department that he was unemployed, resulting in his receipt of more than $4,700 to which he was not entitled between April 6, ...
