Former 'Old Guardsman' Ronald E. Hufford visited the Miami Valley Veterans Museum to discuss his military service during a recent coffee and donuts gathering, which happens the first Wednesday morning of each month at the museum in Troy.

Ohio firefighters battled a early-morning house fire in Casstown on May 21. A neighbor called the Miami County, Ohio 911 dispatch center around 5:45 a.m. and reported that his house next store was on fire.

The Village of Casstown will dedicate its Veterans Memorial Park during a public ceremony at 11 a.m. May 19.
