So far, an electrified fence has prevented another bear raid on beehives that are located on Barnum Road, just outside of Cassadaga.

Passenger injured in crash; driver charged with DWI

A 35-year-old Sinclairville woman was taken by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, on Saturday after the car in which she was riding veered off a rural road and struck a tree, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office reports.
