Arrests lead to recoveries that lead to more recoveries

Sheriff's deputies arrested two adults and two juveniles on May 24 and uncovered what officials say was a "string of thefts, burglaries and vandalism occurring over a two-month span." According to Sheriff's Office reports, a caller reported a suspicious vehicle which left the Little River Inn just before midnight.

Did I miss something?!?

"Since deputies had enough information to file a criminal complaint, Gibson and Rasheed were released from the substation. The juveniles were cited for theft and possession of stolen items and released to their parents."

I thought possession of stolen property was a crime that warranted arrest.
