Crash in Casnovia closes Apple Avenue for more than an hour

Casnovia Fire Department Asst. Fire Chief Dennis Deems said one of the vehicles involved in the two-car collision crossed the centerline and struck the other head on.

Fire officials heading to Casnovia barn fire; Tanker trucks requested

The fire was reported around 11 a.m. at 2530 S. Slocum, and Casnovia fire officials were heading that way, referring to the incident as a "working structure fire." Two tanker trucks - one from Ravenna and one from Moorland fire departments - were requested to come to the scene.
