Go past Caryville Elementary to butter n egg. turn left. I think the road is Shelton that goes back to Little Egypt.
When you get past the water fall(on foot-- a little steep) you will go to a bridge and can cross over and then follow trail to top. Beautiful walk. Part of the Appalachian trail and kept up very well.
Be careful with stuff in car, someone broke the window out of my car and stole my purse hid (or so I thought) in the floor board while I was on trail. This place is really nice, but I think a lot of partiers go there and I would not feel safe alone or at night. Such a shame.

Not part of the Appalachian Trail. It is part of the Cumberland Trail State Park.

Theres two diffrent ways to get there.

1) you can take bruce creek falls way. otherwise known as egypt. To get there Go on Butter & egg Rd. you can get there by turning on the road near Eagle Gas station. Then you will Turn Left on the Rd. You will come to a Road named Loop Rd. take that until you Find shelton Hollow Rd. It will say dead end. Follow that rd. once you go a little ways up, you will see two to three parking spots. climb over the boulders.(be sure to lock your car doors) can follow the left trail, after climbing log stair like things and passing, i believe 2 waterfalls, you will come to a a bridge, cross the bridge and continue to hike up, it will take about 15-25 minutes. you will be able to see an over look and see walmart and everything below.

2) I plan on doing this in a few days, won't be quite as detailed.
In caryville, like going towards the interstate, go pass shoney's. stay on the road, and you will come to a road called bruce's gap. it will have a bridge over the top. follow the road until you come up on a parking lot with wooden fences on the left. It will be park of the cumberland trail. walk a little and you will come to a fork in the road. turn right and follow path 3.5 miles. once done you'll be seeing the devil's race track overlook.:)

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Taurus

Make a big effort to spend time with people you didn't see on Christmas Day, especially if they're older than you or are having a bad time at the moment. You're brimming over with compassion and empathy, which will be really appreciated by anyone who's on the receiving end of them. You're also in the mood to make allowances for people, and that will help enormously.
