Tornado warning issued for parts of Shelby, Panola counties
The National Weather Service office in Shreveport issued a tornado warning for northwestern Shelby County and most of Panola County at 4:32 p.m. The warning extends through 5 p.m. According to the NWS, meteorologists detected a storm 16 miles southwest of Carthage capable of producing a tornado.
