Funny how you never snag the drunk in the black GMC that drives drunk & drugged to his home in Carroll Valley every night. Gets busted drunk driving & is still driving drunk.YOU GUYS WAITING FOR HIM TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT? Police have been called numerous times. Guess it pays to have connections.

PSP is not really set up for county wide patrols and you think the budget is strained now!!!!!

Carroll Valley does a pretty good job from my limited exposure plus everyone makes mistakes!!

If you really believe that, then you are obviously stupid enough to drive drunk. I do not believe you meant that...

I am sure the local police are willing to overlook someone driving drunk...not! I don't believe you called at all...but even if you do, don't they need to see the drunk, well, driving?

Maybe you should take a license number and talk with the Chief of Police directly, or an elected person...

You apparently don’t live in this area or you would know better. There is such a double standard for some people. As long as you have the right friends (the cops) you can get away with a lot. And before anyone asks it, NO I’ve never been arrested. I am friends with some people that are friendly with the cops and I know what they have gotten away with.

Just remember that MADD has an agenda and as more of your rights get taken away by their fear tactics you willingly give up your constitutional rights.

I don't care what MADD's agenda was, is or will be and have butted heads with MADD members!!!

I served my country defending our rights, I then went onto spend my career as a police officer and my AGENDA was, is and will always be to protect and serve my fellow citizens.

I have seen far too many tragic incidents caused by DUI offenders, so you know where you can shove your hidden agenda-stealing our rights argument!!!!

The police were called, told where the vehicle was and we were told that they were too busy on other calls. That's okay, when the idiot kills an innocent family everyone will want to know why. BTW, the drunk was popped DUI a few times & has no license now!

You are correct! The drunk driver I mention knows the right cops, he's gotten away with beating his wife to a pulp, theft, pulling a gun on someone a few years ago, terroristic threats...it goes on and on. If you or I did this, we would be in jail.

That's a major problem in Adams County. Police departments are under staffed even PA State Police. How do you expect the police to be at someone's house because they can't raise their kids and be on the street getting drunks?

No, you are either not telling the truth or like to sensationalize things. I believe I have the right friends...and I am sure they would drag my butt to jail for driving drunk. Please stop making up lies.

I find it funny that every anti-police idiot crawls out from under their rock when a story about the police doing something worthwhile is published.

Here is a news flash: If you think all cops are corrupt...you need to seek professional help...and let us know when you come back to reality. As it turns out, police and government aren't near as corrupt as uneducated people say...they just don't take the time to understand anything, likely because their small brains don't have additional room because of the alcohol saturation...

Hey, the more they pull over drunks, the happier I'll be. Nobody is dissing the police in general. There are a few stinkers out there who cover things up for friends. It happens everywhere. I will take my complaint higher up.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Gemini

Maybe it's pre-Christmas tension but people can turn nasty in the blink of an eye today. This is especially likely if they've got a lot on their plate or they think they're very important, and you may have to treat them with kid gloves if you want to avoid getting sucked into a bad-tempered war of words. Some gentle humor may help to rescue the situation before it descends into acrimony.
