Law enforcement officers throughout Salem and Cumberland counties will be cracking down on unbuckled motorists and passengers next week as part of the "May 2013 Click it or Ticket" campaign.

CARNEYS POINT TWP . - Pennsville Fire and Rescue Co. responded at 10:24 a.m. Monday to Hawks Bridge Road to assist Pennsville Ambulance on the scene of a motor vehicle crash and remained in service for 15 minutes.

MANNINGTON TWP. - The driver of a pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the median before slamming into a utility pole at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday, according to officials.

CARNEYS POINT TWP. - Salem Community College will use $3 million in state grants to make some critical upgrades to one of the college's aging buildings, officials said.

PENNS GROVE - A local man has been indicted on charges of first-degree murder in connection with the killing of Monte Waye, who was found shot to death in the parking lot of a borough business in August.

PENNSVILLE TWP. - Pennsville Fire and Rescue Co. responded at 4:54 p.m. Thursday to Supawna Road for an alarm system and remained in service for 20 minutes.

CARNEYS POINT TWP . - Carneys Point Dept. and Rescue Squad responded at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday to Shell Road to assist Carneys Point Ambulance on the scene of a motor vehicle crash and remained in service for 22 minutes.

CARNEYS POINT TWP. - Carneys Point Police arrested three men on charges of driving while intoxicated in a one-week span.
