Summer has unofficially kicked off and it's time to plan for some family fun. The Jersey Shore is and always has been a popular choice for family outings.

The Coast Guard rescued a man who capsized his kayak four miles off Cape May Point on the Delaware Bay Saturday evening.

And for us, that meant Coney Island -- along with 6 million of our neighbors, as though Manhattan wasn't crowded enough.

All three-borough commission seats in Cape May Point were voted on Tuesday night.
