CANTON, Pa. &#8212 State environmental regulators say methane had to be vented from a pair of private drinking wells near a northern Pennsylvania natural gas drilling well.

President Barack Obama has nominated U.S. Magistrate Judge Malachy E. Mannion and Bradford County attorney Matthew W. Brann to fill two judge vacancies on the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Investigator Gregory Moore of the Mansfield PSP reports that 4-24-12 at 2200 hours he investigated a crash which occurred on State Hwy 2017 607 feet east of Gulick Street in Hamilton Township, Tioga County.
