MORTON TWP., Mich. - A Mecosta County mother was arraigned on 4th degree child abuse after investigators say she left her child unattended for up to two days while she was drunk.

A Mecosta County man has been charged with stealing batteries from boats. The thefts happened in the Canadian Lakes area last summer.

A man and a woman have been arrested for stealing money from Amish produce stands in Mecosta County.

Police say the suspects, a woman driver and man as passenger, traveled to several Amish farms near Stanwood and robbed cash from the produce stands.
