Severe weather expected to arrive in the Shreveport-Bossier area this afternoon and overnight has prompted local emergency officials to make preparations for possible flash flooding that could come with Tuesday's storms.

The search is on for a man police considered a suspect in a double homicide in Campti after he escaped custody.
