Camden approves fast-track hiring for police

Facing a drastically understaffed police force in Camden, state officials yesterday approved an expedited hiring process to put 25 new officers on the street by the end of the year.

I just hope the city can afford to pay them! The one's we've got are already over-worked and under-paid as it is!!!! Camden needs an overhaul in the financial department. The money needs to be put back into the things that truly matter!!!!
