Erie County Office of Children and Youth records documented in painful detail the past and problems of a troubled 14-year-old boy known as "J.O." They reported he had sexually offended two girls and talked of shooting and stabbing people.

Steven L. Durkin, 21, was arraigned before Saegertown District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and theft by unlawful taking in the break-in at the pharmacy, at 227 S.
