Supervisors to consider timing of Cambria cell tower project
County supervisors will have another chance Tuesday to approve state amendments to a North Coast land-use plan that's been in the works for more than 15 years.
One issue supervisors will consider is the timing of a project that would put two cellular transmission towers on the protected Fiscalini Ranch Preserve in Cambria. The project, submitted under current development regulations, is working its way through the permit process.
Supervisors delayed their decision on the Cambria and San Simeon community plans in October, hoping to work out differences with the California Coastal Commission over the tower proposal. Read more
