Student Achievement Liaison Abby Crock reported that Katie Depuy, Christopher Hupp, Olivia King, Gracie Matheney, Gage Murray, John Robby Allen and Joshua Crum were junior high school students who have maintained a 4.0 grade-point average through the first 18 weeks of school.

Two men were sentenced to a combined 27 years in prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to the June 23 robbery of U.S. Bank in Minford.
