CABIN JOHN, Md. - Two Springfield men are dead after police say they were run off the road by a drunk driver.

Police are investigating a deadly hit and run on the outer loop of the beltway in Cabin John, Maryland.

The bodies of two men recovered from the Potomac River in Montgomery County are believed to be those of two cousins from Leesburg , Va., who apparently drowned June 21 while swimming off Purple Horse Beach near Cabin John, a spokesman for the county's fire and rescue service said Sunday.
