A Butler man is dead following a one-car wreck Saturday night in Bates County. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, David R. Bukaty was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident on Rice Road, a half-mile east of Wright Road, in which Bukaty lost control of a 2003 Dodge on the ice- and snow-covered road.
