I feel terrible for your family, Mike. It's too bad you didn't learn a lesson the first time. You deserve 8 years in prison and then some. Not only did you mess up your own life and those of your family members, but you messed with the lives of everyone who worked Bankers Mortgage and that affected our family members. Although I loathe what you did, my pity goes to your kids who are now left to be raised without their father.

He didn't learn the first time because he got a tiny slap on the hand. Ten days in jail for 100K theft??? For some reason they charged him with a misdemeanor not a felony. There seems to be a lot of info missing about the first offense. |

Perhaps that is why this time the judge made sure he was going to pay with a "double upward departure" from MN Sentencing Guidelines. |
