Bob Herbert in NYTIMES this morning said: Glenn Beck, one of the moronic maestros of right-wing radio and TV, assures us that President Obama “has a deep-seated hatred for white people.” Some years ago, as the watchdog group Media Matters for America points out on its Web site, Beck said he’d like to beat Representative Charles Rangel “to death with a shovel.”

Is this the type of person that the mayor of Mt. Vernon wants to hold in high esteem for young and old to replicate? Say no to Glen Beck and say no to the mayor. Vote that man out of office.

Motels in Mount Vernon require a credit card to rent a room; white-collar propagandists should have no problem.

(Motels across the country have begun requiring a credit card to rent a room. There has not been an epidemic of motel rooms being trashed; people have been stealing/trashing rooms since the beginning of time. Five year waiting list for public housing in Bellingham. Etc.)

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Aries

It's one of those days when you'd be wise to mind your Ps and Qs if you want to avoid putting both feet in it or feeling like a fool. The trouble is that you're finding it hard to think before you speak, and you're rushing into situations without thinking about the possible consequences. All you can do is to apologize and try your hardest not to let it happen again.
