A 30-year-old man suffered minor injuries Friday when a train hit the back end of his flatbed truck in Puyallup.

The first full day of the Highway 12 revision in Burbank had some drivers in the area questioning the plans after a semi-truck tipped over in the new roundabout at the Highway 124 interchange.

A historically deadly stretch of Highway 12 through Burbank will become safer today when the new Humorist Road overpass opens and the final traffic signal is removed.

Highway 124 from the intersection with Highway 12 to Lake Road will close at 6 p.m. today and stay closed for the weekend.

BURBANK, Wash. The Washington State Department of Transportation Friday closes a stretch of State Route 124 in Burbank for the rest of the week as the DOT prepares to open the new interchange and overpass.

Tires will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the fire station on Humorist Road, Burbank.
