Something I've noticed about NY state. They tend to run any viable business out of the state. First the casino, then the windpower industry, now the "clean coal" plant.
I do consulting at Moog. I told the president there that if NYS runs them out, Colorado will accept them with open arms, equivalent real-estate prices, 1/4 the taxes, and some of the lowest utility prices in the nation. I'm thinking NYS, and especially Buffalo and surrounding area are actually proud of their "poorest city in the nation" status, and don't want any businesses coming in, puting people to work and ruining that reputation. But that's just speculation on my part. |
Do you really think that the Senecas coming to Buffalo is opportunity? Seneca Niagara and Seneca Allegany casinos have a policy in place that allows a Seneca to bump any non Seneca out of their job (no matter how long the non Seneca has held the position). Seneca employees at Seneca Niagara and Seneca Allegany casinos receive mileage reimbursements (per mile) for the distance they drive to and from work. Non Senecas receive NO mileage reimbursement. Senecas at both of these casinos also receive four extra paid holidays per year that non Senecas do not receive. There are two entrances to both of the buffet restaurants at Seneca Niagara and Seneca Allegany casinos, one entrance for the non Senecas (who can wait in line for hours) and another line for Senecas who get to walk right in in front of anyone else. The Seneca Allegany Casino has been pumping its raw sewage (S-H-I-T) into tanker trucks daily and driving it 50 miles down the road to Jamestown, New York, and dumping the (S-H-I-T) into the Jamestown BPU waste water facility. The City of Buffalo seems to be full of alot of fools who think the Senecas are going to make any improvements to their city, fools that have absolutely no idea what these indians are doing at the two facilities they run in Niagara Falls and Salamanca. |

Maybe it's the drugs that the Seneca indians can get for their employees that is the drawing card for all of the fools that want them in Buffalo.
Are you addicted to prescription drugs?....well then the Senecas are your answer. Any employee in the Seneca casinos can drop off an empty prescription bottle with the nurse on duty during their shift and the nurse will get you a refill. The nurse won't tell you what doctor was involved (if any doctor was involved at all) to get your prescrition refilled or for that matter where the drugs came from, but she will get you your drugs |
