Four Hays schools improve TEA scores
While kids mark the end of summer with the first back-to-school shopping trip, teachers and administrators know the end is near when the Texas Education Agency (TEA) releases its accountability ratings.
On Friday, Hays CISD got the promising news that four of its campuses had moved up the rating scale, with Elm Grove Elementary earning the TEA's highest rating of Exemplary.
"This demonstrates that our students and teachers are doing the right things and we expect these positive trends to continue," said Kirk London, Hays CISD Superintendent.
