Plumas County's only wilderness area will be honored Saturday when the Bucks Lake Wilderness celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Firefighters corral blaze; threat to community eases
Firefighters battling a 316-acre blaze near Quincy built control lines around 80 percent of it Monday, reducing the risk to the Plumas County community of Meadow Valley.
