Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman Mike Browning confirmed late Thursday evening that two brothers from Indian Mound, including one who was scheduled to graduate from Stewart County High School tonight, were killed in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 79.

Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman Mike Browning said two fatalities are confirmed after a two-car head-on accident that occurred this afternoon on U.S. Highway 79 east of Dover in Stewart County.

Rutherford County Schools will open its 43rd school in August, and could possibly open two more new schools by 2010.
