A new Plainfield Starbucks got one step closer to opening at Route 59 and Main Street Monday, as trustees approved a special use permit for a drive-thru at the location, 23915 W. Main St.

Almost three years after a triple homicide in Danville, Freddell L. Bryant, a drug dealer and general in the Black P. Stones gang, told police that he shot all three victims during an attempt to recover thousands of dollars worth of drugs that were stolen from him.
