Republicans face off in new state House district in Williamson County
Cedar Park City Council Member Tony Dale and Travis County sheriff's office Finance Manager Paul Matthews are vying for the party's nomination May 29 in a race for House District 136, which covers Cedar Park, Leander, portions of North Austin and the Brushy Creek and Fern Bluff municipal utility districts.

Officials to build bridge over 183A
Austin-based Montoya Anderson Construction Inc. has been chosen to lead the project, which includes building a 120-foot long bridge and 582 feet of trail, that will connect the Williamson County Brushy Creek Regional Trail to the 183A path.
