It does not take very long to conduct the most minimal of a background check on her simply by Googling her name. It is evident she lacks the kind of sticktoitiveness necessary to bring stability to the students of the Brush school district.
I ask everyone involved, did any of you take the opportunity to read the investigation report from Steamboat and take to heart the conclusions?
I do not know about many of you, but I simply do not give a rats a^% about our children learning the Chinese language or any immersion program in China to do so. We are not where we are economically because China is an even trading partner.
Change is not always a bad thing but the WRONG change can be very costly to a district already strapped, this could be a costly selection, just look at what happend in Steamboat, better yet, pick up a phone and ask around.
The future of our children and a school district is riding on the back of this selection, a selection who must accept and be accountable for every decision she makes, good or bad. We can not afford to "buy out" a contract when things go South. I am concerned for a school district and its students and staff.
How did she fly under the radar folks? Was the interview process, like it is all too often, a process of "I'll tell you what I think you want to hear"? As opposed to a candid disclosure of every question ask and a confirmation thereof? I hope beyond all hope that my concerns are wrong.
