In the backlash of a 25-percent revenue shortfall in its fiscal budget, the Wilmore City Council had a very difficult decision Monday night - whether to save the city an estimated $16,000 or save the individual employee a $400 health-care deductible increase.

A Louisville mother has learned those responsible for taking her slain son's memorial from the spot where he died may not be thieves, but city workers.

Coleman's mother, Kathy Brumfield, said it was hard enough losing her son, but what makes it worse is the fact that someone continues to vandalize the memorial she made to remember him.
