It's a shame that irresponsible owners like Mr. Holcomb give pit bulls a bad reputation. I have volunteered for almost one year and put in over one hundred volunteer hours with pit bulls several days a week. They are the sweetest, most affectionate dogs I've ever worked with and it's a shame that many people are afraid of them. They are actually bred to be loyal and loving to people and score above most other breeds in temperament testing. These dogs, of all dogs, deserve a second chance at a good life, as do all who have had to fight. Even the Mike Vick dogs are being rehabilitated and are doing just fine.
