Metal recycler Metalico buys rival Snyder Group for $76 million
“Given the favorable market trends and the high scrap steel prices that we are experiencing, it is a timely period to increase our exposure to the ferrous commodities.”
The buyout gives Metalico a significant stake in the ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling business, with Snyder operating multiple yards in West Virginia and western Pennsylvania. via Platts
