New details have been released as the investigation continues into an early Friday morning shooting in the Browndell Community, north of Jasper.

Jasper County Sheriff Mitchel Newman says the shooting occurred shortly after 2:00 on County 226 in the Pine Terrace Addition, which is in the Browndell Community.
