Nearly 200 animals removed from Brooksville home

There are animal lovers and there are recuers of animals. I love animals dogs cats hamsters fish
but I know my limits, to have soooo many animals even with good intentions can be overwhelming, she could have found decent homes for some of the cats, dogs to cut down on her cleaning problems and food bills. I think she just didn't want to get rid of any of the animals condition known as "hoarding". Shame that sooo many animals now may lose their lives because she wouldn't take care of them.

Her money problems were just another excuse for her failure to take care of the animals. Now Animal Services will hold for 7 days then kill them. There are no winners here the animals lost.

I have been to the Animal Haus and the conditions were appalling. All the animals had skin conditions from fleas while boxes and boxes of flea medicine sat in the garage cabinets. All the dogs were so itchy you just touched them and they began to scratch. While no animal was in need of emergency treatment, the owners have no dedication or work ethic to keep these animals in good conditions. They were too busy eating out, driving brand new cars and complaining about being bankrupt. The animals who were euthanized may have been spared a long drawn out death from neglect. I only hope that Willy, Caesar, Luna, and the other wonderful dogs I bathed and helped can find new homes. I wish it would have ended differently, but the owners would not let any animal be adopted out into better conditions with loving homes.
