It was the Capay Valley Volunteer Fire Department that responded and ran the call with assistance from the Rumsey Rancheria Fire Department and CalFire. It is an important distintion since the volunteers like to be recognized as well.

Geez Clay, give me a break. Volunteers are volunteers. They do a great job, whatever group/town they are from. I am sure no one meant any ill will...

Good for you, Clay, for giving credit to your guys. Credit should be given where due, especially to volunteers. It was right of you to remind the author of the article to get the details accurate, especially where recognition of the volunteer firefighters is concerned.
