LINE DANCE SOCIAL: A Brookridge Good Times Line Dance Social will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. today at the Brookridge Clubhouse, 8150 Hampton St., Brookridge.

Hernando County rescinded its boil water order for the Brookridge community Tuesday afternoon after receiving word that a retest of one of the community's water wells showed no signs of E. coli bacteria.

HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla - Residents in the Brookridge area are being advised to boil their water before it is consumed, according to officials from Hernando County Utilities.

An Artifact ID Day will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 26 at the Loyal order of Moose Lodge 1676, 17129 Wiscon Road, Brooksville.

Last week, Guy Galante and his wife left their Brookridge home about 8 a.m. and headed to the Quality Inn of Weeki Wachee, where they spent a lazy day by the swimming pool and enjoyed a nice breakfast and lunch.
