Pedestrian struck, killed in Brookhaven

Lincoln County Coroner Clay McMorris said Calvin O. Sanders, 36, was pronounced dead at King's Daughters Medical Center emergency room some time around 10:15 p.m. Witnesses said Sanders had wandered into the road and was struck near the intersection of Industrial Park and Center Street by a man in a maroon vehicle resembling a Crown Victoria.

Lawrence Co farmers concerned about FSA closures
